Montbell Launch Lake to Fell

The Japanese outdoor brand brings their Sea to Summit format to Borrowdale this September.

Montbell have been running their Sea to Summit event series in Japan for years: a human-powered loop through the countryside using paddles, pedals, and feet, with no timing, no tracking, and no pressure. Lake to Fell is the first British edition, and it’s landing in Borrowdale this September.

The weekend runs across 12 and 13 September, based at Hollows Farm Campsite. Saturday opens with talks and workshops exploring Lakeland nature and environmental issues. Sunday is the main event: a 35km loop through the Borrowdale landscape by kayak, bike, and on foot.

It isn’t a race. The idea is to move through a good piece of country with good people. Head to Montbell for tickets.
